Kim Victoria Cattrall (born August 21st, 1956) is a British-Canadian actress best known for her role in the role of Samantha Jones in the HBO series Sex and the City for which she received five Emmy Award nominations and four Golden Globe Award nominations winning the 2002 Golden Globe for Best Supporting Actress. In the years 2008 and 2010 she reprised her role in the movies Sex and the City and Sex and the City 2. Her other notable roles include her leading roles in the 1980s films Police Academy Big Trouble in Little China Mannequin and Porky's. Kim Cattrall will be remembered for her portrayal of Samantha Jones in the HBO sitcom Sex & the City. Cattrall has made a name for herself as an actress. The role she played as Samantha Jones was one of her most memorable roles. The popularity of her character grew not just in her home country but she became an international star. Anita Ekberg...................Anita Ekberg was a Swedish actress who appeared in several European as well as American films. Most well-known is her part in the drama comedy film La Dolce Vita. The film received both the Golden Palm Award and an Oscar at the year 1960 at the Cannes Film Festival and also was a huge critical and commercial achievement, also won the Oscar. The actress was born in Skane, Sweden and did modeling before she began her acting career. She went on to win the Miss Sweden contest. As she moved to the US and was featured in numerous films as a small part and her career began to take off. She played the role of Venusian Guard on Abbott and Costello Go to Mars, her first credit performance.
